About Us

Belfield Montessori Day Nursery is a privately-run nursery offering high-quality professional childcare for families in New Barnet and the surrounding areas. We care for children from 3 months to 5 years and we are open 8 am – 6 pm Monday to Friday (except Christmas and bank holidays). Full time and part time places are available. Conveniently located

We are located in New Barnet just a short walk from High Barnet tube station and New Barnet train station. We have free parking available in the nearby roads, as well as ample space indoors to store pushchairs. We are 100% committed to your child and our aim is to continuously develop and educate children aged 3 months-5 years, in a safe, caring and fun environment.

Learn while they play

We have a large outside space providing the opportunity for children to discover and learn about nature and the natural world, develop their sensory skills, and encourage imagination and play. Our outdoor space includes 2 gardens, with artificial grass, soft surface and gazebo and the other with a large mud kitchen and planting area, as well as a wide selection of equipment and resources. We offer 15 hours of Nursery Government Funding (term time only) to children aged 3-5 years old.

  • My Son has been attending here for just under 2 years and started in baby room. It is safe to say he loves it here and has made some great friends and receives a great quality of care for his carers. They offer fun activities and seems they also have great teaching methods, as we feel he has picked up so many skills. They have also developed him to become confident and social and it has been so nice to see him flourish. We highly recommend this Nursery and all the caring staff there.

  • Both our children have been at Belfield since they were babies and we could not be happier with the care they receive. The staff are so caring and kind - if my kids ever needed a little extra help or anything, the carers always went the extra mile to give them what they needed.
